Hello, and welcome to the Niagara Dance & Fitness Studio. Here is where I hope to make every dancer's dreams come true. Below is a brief introduction about me, and how I started and come to love teaching.
I started dancing when I was 5 years old with RAD method, and when I was 12 I switched to the Cecchetti Method. From the age of 13 to 18 I was trained by Professional Ballerina Masha Stom. This is where she gave me the opportunity to teach while being a part of her Dance Company, and this is where I fell in love with teaching. At 18, I was accepted to the National Ballet School’s 3 year intensive teachers training program, where I received my Associate status with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Not only becoming a Ballet Director upon graduation - with continued hard work and attending several courses with the National Ballet School and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, I had passed my Licentiate Examination with the ISTD.
With a desire to always bring the BEST and give the BEST to your children, In 2012, through an intensive examination I received my Full Membership status with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association. As well in 2012, I became a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. In 2014 I received my Modern Certification with CDTA.
Having well over 30 years experience in the Art of teaching and Directing at various schools from Recreational to Professional, and having students compete in Competitions and always successfully pass with Top marks in Examinations, the NIAGARA DANCE & FITNESS STUDIO is the studio for you!
